We are wanting to know what your routine is for Black Friday. How do you prepare for it? Do you have a good Black Friday story? Or do you not even attempt to get out and fight the chaos?
Two years ago we decided to get up early and be at Wal-Mart at 4:30am. This was the first time I'd ever attempted to shop on Black Friday. Crowds make my skin crawl, and fighting crowds is worse.

If you just stand back and watch, it's the craziest scene ever. People lose all sense of humanity. Their inner animal comes out, and it's UGLY! or funny, depending on how you look at it. Once I'd resigned to the fact that I wasn't going to get what I wanted, my mood lightened and I actually kind of had fun. Key words: KIND OF.
I won't be getting up before the crack of dawn for Black Friday this year. This year I will doing some pre-Black Friday shopping online and participating in Cyber Monday. This year on Black Friday we will be celebrating a family tradition we call Sokey Day.
