How's your summer coming along? Are you ready for it to be over and Fall to be here? I AM! I am over this Oklahoma heat. 16 days in a row of 100+ temps is just down right ridiculous! What have you been doing to beat this heat?

We have spent lots of time swimming this summer. And, if we haven't been in the water, we are hanging out indoors watching TV, cooking, games, puzzles, etc. I'm sure if my teenager were home there would be lots of fighting between my two children because of all the coopedupness! I made that word up. It's fitting! Have your kids been fighting from being indoors so much? It's like it was when we were snowed in during the blizzard back in the winter. Snow.... Awe.

My teenager has been gone almost 2 weeks traveling with her cousin and grandparents in their motor home. They have been to Chattanooga, Gatlinburg, Charlotte, and now they are in Nashville. They've done ALL the tourist things to do while in these great cities. Their last stop will be Memphis to go to Graceland and the Gibson Guitar Museum. I am ready for her to be home Sunday, 17 days away is a long time. And, her 4 year old little sister is missing her something fierce! We are so thankful she is getting the opportunity to see so much of our great nation.

The RHOK are going to Blue Hole on Tuesday in Salina, OK. If you follow us on Facebook you can see the event and RSVP if you'd like to go.

I've been going to Blue Hole since I was a small child. I'm from Pryor and that's just a hop, skip, and a jump away. In high school that's where my friends and I went during the summers to hang out. It's just a cool place to be. And, because it's a cool place to be and because it was in the Tulsa World and on the news, it is now a busy place. It's not somewhere I want to be on the weekend anymore, because there are just too many people. If you have no clue what Blue Hole is, it is just a spring creek. Super cold water. Snow. Oh, wait. I got carried away thinking about things that are cold.

We are hoping Tuesday won't be super crowded. The housewives are ready to chill out while we watch our kids swim and catch fish and crawdads. It's a day of family fun. Want to join us?

Here are a few pictures from the last time The RHOK went to Blue Hole.

You just never know what you might see at Blue Hole either!? Floating carpet?!

That's my sister-in-law telling y'all to come on in, the water's nice and cold!
