Whatcha Got in the Pot?!

Does you life feel like it's going in fast motion these days? Boy, mine sure does. With all the activities my girls are in I'm finding it hard to find time to prepare, let alone cook, dinner. 

This is where today's post comes in. I've gathered some tried and true slower cooker meals along with some meals that are on my list to try. 

Last week I found a great new website called Lynn's Kitchen Adventures. I tried her slow cooker Sticky Chicken recipe. I made it with chicken thighs and it was a huge hit with my family. Best part? It was SO easy. Oh, how I love easy.

This next recipe is also from Lynn's Kitchen Adventures. Slow Cooked Orange Pork Roast is on my list to make in the next week. It sounds just yummy to me.

Here's a Pioneer Woman recipe that I've made in the slow cooker and it turned out wonderful. It's called Spicy Dr. Pepper Shredded Pork. The only changes I made were because of our taste preferences. I used half of an onion instead of a whole onion and 3/4 of a can of chipotle pepper in adobe sauce instead of the whole can. Wu-wee are those little boogers spicy!

The last one I'm sharing today is from one of my all-time favorite place to go for recipes, Deep South Dish. Mary just has the BEST recipes. I'm definitely putting this on my must-make list... Crockpot Coca-Cola Peach Barbecue Pork Chops. Mmm, mmm, mmm...
